Growing up in a musical family, I quickly realized the power music had to move people. I sang in a choir and performed in musicals at my church beginning at age 3 and continued my passion for music in High School as a member of the madrigal choir, Jazz choir, Allstate Jazz choir and two a cappella groups.
I attended the University of Vermont where I studied Communications Sciences and grew passionate about autism spectrum disorders and how music could help me relate to this population in a more effective way.
This realization brought me back to Boston where I attended Berklee College of Music and studied Music Therapy. I currently work as a private instructor at Alpha Omega Music Studios, where I coach my students in vocal technique, piano, guitar, performance and songwriting. We are also launching an artist development series this Spring to educate students on marketing their careers independently! I also teach privately out of my home studio in Belmont, MA.
